The Samples & Forecasting system is Elemental Enzymes' unified platform for planning, managing, and distributing research and field trial samples. It brings together forecasting, inventory alignment, and sample fulfillment into one streamlined process so teams get materials when they need them.
Forecasting
Product managers, R&D leads, and project teams communicate anticipated sample needs during designated forecast windows. This helps Production and Logistics plan inventory, schedule manufacturing, and ensure priority access to limited run materials.
Sample Requests
Once a forecast is entered, sample requests are submitted with exact quantities, destinations,
and timing. This initiates shipment and ensures deliveries are accurate and on schedule.
While there are scenarios where a forecast may not have been captured, the system allows for direct sample requests to accommodate urgent needs, but there is no gurantee of fulfillment without a forecast.
